Mercure Kakadu Crocodile Hotel is one of the most iconic hotels in Kakadu as it is shaped like a crocodile! The hotel has a restaurant, bar, and pool onsite for you to access during your stay.
Room options
Mercure has seven different types of room options and four of the options are accessible. All the rooms are air conditioned, spacious and comes with a TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a mini fridge. Your room will have your own bathroom with a shower.
Standard room
At the tail end of the hotel is where the standard rooms are. If you’re looking for something simple to stay for two people, this option is perfect for you!
There are two types of standard rooms, one with a queen bed and the other option is two double beds (accessible room).
Superior room
The superior rooms are suitable for three to four people. The room will have either a queen bed and single bed, or two double beds.
The superior rooms give you views of the landscaped gardens and you’re close to the swimming pool.
Courtyard room
There are three courtyard rooms, and all are accessible. You can either get a queen bed, or a queen bed with two single beds, or two double beds. The courtyard rooms are perfect for a group or family of four, unless booking the queen courtyard room where it’s suitable for two.
Outside in the courtyard, there is seating available to enjoy the garden views and easy access to the pool.

Mercure is in Jabiru, making it easy to explore some of Kakadu’s most important natural attractions. You’re close to the ancient Aboriginal rock art at Ubirr, and magnificent waterfalls like Jim Jim Falls, Twin Falls, and Gunlom Falls. You are also nearby Cahills Crossing where you can spot wild crocodiles or do bird watching at Mamukala Wetlands.
