FAQ about Kakadu National Park Tours


Where do you pick up from?


All our Kakadu National Park tours pick up from Darwin. We pickup from a number of hotels, you can see the full list under the ‘Pickup Locations’ on the individual tour pages. If your hotel isn’t on this list, please contact our team to help determine the best pickup location for your group.


Will my tour be cancelled in the Wet Season?


Our Kakadu tours run in all weather and will only get cancelled in the case of dangerous conditions. Please consider the weather when you book and pack for your trip, ensuring you have the appropriate clothing for the climate.


What should I bring for my tour?


There are a number of things you should be sure to pack for our Kakadu National Park tours. Click on the ‘What to Bring’ tab on the individual tour pages for more information.


Do I need to bring my own camping gear?


No, we will provide you with all your camping gear. If you wish to use a pillow you will need to bring your own. You are welcome to bring your own sleeping bag, alternatively you can hire one for an additional fee.


What is included in the tour?


All park permits, campground fees, camping equipment, and meals as indicated. Some tours also include activities, check the ‘What’s Included?’ tab on the individual tour pages to learn more.


How old do I have to be to do the tour?


All multi-day our tours are catered towards individuals between 18 – 49 years old. If you or someone you’re travelling with is outside of this age range, please contact our team on 1300 331 225 before booking.


Are there shower and toilet facilities on the tours?


There are toilet facilities on each day of the tour, however they will vary between flushable and drop toilets. Most days will have shower facilities however some campsites may not have showers available.


Are there any additional costs?


Some tours don’t include the Kakadu National Park ticket, which will need to be paid on the day of the tour. You can also choose to hire a sleeping bag. Inclusions and upgrades are visible under the What’s Included tab on the tour page.


What happens if a site is closed or inaccessible?


All of our Kakadu National Park Tour itineraries are flexible, and it may not be possible to attend every single site listed on the tour page. Our guides consider weather, water levels and road access to plan a tour that will offer you the best experience and will find suitable alternatives for any areas unreachable.


I want to cancel my tour; how do I do this?


If you wish to cancel your tour, please contact our reservations team via email or call our office on 1300 331 225. All cancellations will be subject to our cancellation policy which you can find here.
